In the 70s, Växjö was a small polluted town nestled in the thick forests of southern Sweden. Today, it has been recognized by the EU as the greenest city in Europe. So, what happened? What are community members and politicians doing to make their home more sustainable? And how could we emulate some of this work in our own American communities?
