Everything is Not O.K.

Everything is Not O.K.

Before the Occupy Movement even began, Everything is OK, a collaborative art project aimed at provoking people to more critically consider the status quo, was challenging consumerist culture in London - through a bullhorn.

"Consume, consume, consume until we have no planet left to consume," a man from instructs passing commuters in London. Inevitable tangles with law enforcement transpire through a bullhorn, magnifying police suppression for the public to see.

Of course, everything is not O.K. By announcing that "everything you read in the mainstream media is 100 percent true" and "smiling is bad for the economy, but please, move swiftly to your next shopping experience," these activists point out the hypnotic effect of consumerism, which instills an apathy in the populace that renders trivial issues of utmost importance and important issues moot.

Everything is OK began as a design project. "Faced with the mounting inequities in our world and culture, we set out to assemble a list of resources that would point people toward positive action," the groups says. "We launched a simple website (everythingisok.com) as a means of sharing these links. To promote the site, we created barricade tape with the incongruous message 'everything is ok.'"

Based on details that have emerged about Trump’s presidential agenda, the far-right Heritage Foundation plans for the next GOP president to have all the tools necessary to demolish multicultural democracy and establish a white, Christian ethnostate that imposes a gender apartheid not unlike the Taliban’s Afghanistan.

Donald Trump, Hitler

Like Hitler, Trump has a unique command of propaganda, a captivating public presence, and he knows how to drive home narratives beneficial to him and harmful to his enemies.

Trump’s brand of hyper-nationalism combined with the intense consolidation of executive power follows the same playbook as fascistic leaders in other countries like India,Russia, Hungary, Turkey, Egypt, Italy and Argentina, among others.
