UK-based Occupation Records, born out of Occupy London, first gained awareness after hosting an "occupied xmas" event in January featuring sets by Thom Yorke, 3D from Massive Attack and other notable UK-based artists. Since that time, Occupation Records has launched a new site and fundraising campaign for their maiden project - a benefit record entitled "Folk The Banks" with artists such as Ani DiFranco and Tom Morello.
