Roger Waters Wants To Pay More Taxes

Roger Waters Wants To Pay More Taxes
Mon, 4/9/2012

The primary architect of Pink Floyd's "The Wall," Roger Waters has led perhaps the most successful post-Floyd career of any of his bandmates, all while quietly supporting the 99% behind the scenes (perhaps the very secret to this success). Unsung were his efforts to provide free tickets to his shows to wounded war veterans, only to have this initiative quashed by U.S. government for reasons too asinine to explain. In this clip, Waters openly speaks about his support for the Occupy Movement, just how ridiculous the U.S. tax system looks from the perspective of a foreigner and why he's willing to pay more, despite not being a citizen.

Agriculture, the service economy, sexual exploitation, manufacturing, construction and domestic work drive today's enslavement around the world.

What remains unknown is whether post-truth Republicans will succeed in 2024 as the Nazis did in 1933.

Based on details that have emerged about Trump’s presidential agenda, the far-right Heritage Foundation plans for the next GOP president to have all the tools necessary to demolish multicultural democracy and establish a white, Christian ethnostate that imposes a gender apartheid not unlike the Taliban’s Afghanistan.

Donald Trump, Hitler

Like Hitler, Trump has a unique command of propaganda, a captivating public presence, and he knows how to drive home narratives beneficial to him and harmful to his enemies.

History shows there are no “one-day” dictatorships. When democracies fall, they typically fall completely.
