Directed by Alex Mallis and Lily Henderson, "Right Here, All Over" was one of the first in-depth looks into the community that formed in Zuccotti Park, renamed Liberty Square, last Fall. Through a unflinching lens, the filmmakers bring cinéma vérité to a new social movement and present the people behind the protests, which is more than the mainstream media was willing to do. This film takes us through the complex society of working groups that existed in Liberty Square, from medical to comfort, food and media, which formed the basis for a new community of activists. It also showed the world how the people there cared for and looked after each other during those first heady days of revolution.

"In the first few weeks of #OWS, we saw a large void in the reporting," said the film's director, Alex Mallis. "Many news outlets focused only on the rhetoric and 'lack of demands.' We approached the occupation with a level of intimacy to reveal the strong micro-community that was forming inside the park."

Republicans’ fate in the 2026 midterms is likely sealed. But they could be out of power for multiple subsequent election cycles if Democrats are smart.

In November, Indigenous protests in London included the launch of “Bringing It All Back Home,” confronting corporate power head-on.
